Inspiration for the courtyard environment of this Senior Apartment complex was to craft a space with multiple views in mind. The rooftop deck, offering majestic views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory, features firepits and additional places for outdoor entertaining. The garden centerpiece is a curvilinear planting form that is both organic and graphic. as well as an abstraction of a meandering passive garden space as a focal point for residents. Built-in benches surrounded by a varied planting palette provide residents with a multi-sensory experience with texture, color and plant fragrance in the gathering space.
